QStudio Enterprise is based on recognizing the difference between (automated) analysis and (automated) assessment.

By separating assessment from analysis QStudio Enterprise achieves several important goals:

  • it allows a single coherent assessment model to be used against various analysis tools. Each tool no longer needs to come with its own (generally incomplete or nonexistent) assemssment model
  • it provides a platform for higher level reporting and management tools thereby providing a single coherent datamodel. Today software management would need to create and interact with the (implcit) data model associated with each tool as well as define the mapping to the higher level (more relevant) concepts
  • it allows a best of breed approach to analsysis tool selection and reduces customer lock in to an all emcompassing approach

 

QStudio Enterprise provides the enterprise with a consistent interface and reporting capabilities to the software quality processes in the enterprise. It enhances the enterprise’s software quality processes by not only providing automated software assessment but also by supporting software quality trend analysis and software quality benchmarking capabilities.

QStudio Enterprise automates and embeds software assessment within the organization and assesses the software in business level terms based on the ISO 9126 software assessment standard. At the same time it provides drill down capabilities to issues within specific instances of the software.
