Celebrating 30 Years of QA Systems
Passion, Trust and Innovation
This milestone deserved a celebration to remember. In September, our international team came together in Germany for a few days of connection and adventures, from meetings at our headquarters to thrilling race-car rides at the iconic Hockenheimring, exploring Heidelberg and its local cuisine, and celebrating at Stuttgart’s Cannstatter Wasen.
Building trust
Founded by Andreas Sczepansky in 1996, QA Systems has supported engineers through the complexities of embedded software and evolving safety standards. Reflecting on the anniversary, our Founder and CEO captured the responsibility behind that work:
“Trust is built over decades, yet it can be tested in an instant.”
As software becomes increasingly complex and autonomous, our commitment remains clear: helping engineers build systems that are safe, verifiable and trustworthy. The anniversary offered a chance to recognise everyone who has contributed to that journey.

Coming together at our headquarters
The celebrations began on Wednesday, 23 September, at our headquarters. For some team members, particularly those joining from India and Vietnam, it was their first opportunity to meet in person after working together remotely; a meaningful chance to exchange ideas and connect beyond the screen.
Tea, snacks and sweets brought from their home countries gave everyone a taste of the cultures within our team. Conversations continued over dinner at a traditional German restaurant in a charming country-house setting, where we enjoyed Schnitzel, Spätzle, apple strudel and locally made ice creams.

A day at the Hockenheimring
Thursday took us to the Hockenheimring for exhilarating race-car passenger rides. Strapped into the cars, we experienced the acceleration, sharp braking and speed through each corner. For some, it was a much-anticipated adventure; for others, a step outside their comfort zone. Everyone had a reaction to share afterwards.
Wearing our QA Systems shirts, we gathered alongside the cars for anniversary photographs before enjoying a barbecue lunch.
A guided tour explored the circuit’s history and took us behind the scenes, including the race control room, where we learned how professional races are timed and monitored. We also visited the podium, a fitting stop on a trip celebrating shared success.
The afternoon brought a gentler pace as we explored Heidelberg, ending with plenty of Flammkuchen to share within the impressive walls of Heidelberg Castle.

Celebrating in Stuttgart
Friday began with a stroll around Solitude Palace and its grounds before we changed into traditional dirndls and lederhosen and headed to the Cannstatter Wasen.
We explored the fairground in smaller groups, enjoying the attractions before gathering for delicious food and premium drinks carefully selected for the occasion. Singalong favourites soon had us raising our glasses and dancing, with music bringing us together across languages and nationalities.
It was a joyful finish to three days together, with plenty of stories to bring home.

The people behind the milestone
The highlight throughout was the time we shared: strengthening friendships, making new connections and enjoying the sense of belonging that makes QA Systems feel like a family.
A special thank you goes to Andreas for making the trip possible, and to everyone whose care and organisation made it memorable.
To our team, customers, distributors and partners: thank you for the dedication, trust and collaboration that have brought us this far.
