Cantata 7.1, unit and integration testing tool for C and C++, has now been certified for use in development of safety related software.
QA Systems is offering a free Cantata 7.1 tool certification kit to accelerate standards compliance.
Cantata has been certified as “usable in development of safety related software” up to the highest safety integrity levels for all the main safety related standards:
- IEC 61508:2010 (general industrial)
- ISO 26262:2011 (automotive)
- EN 50128:2011 (railways)
- IEC 60880:2006 (nuclear power)
- and IEC 62304:2006 (medical devices)
Certification was performed by SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH, the leading independent third party certification body for functional safety, accredited by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).
